One week left...?

My official due date is October 31st. So far I have no exciting news to share. As far ask I can tell, this baby is in no hurry to come out. He/She will most likely stay as long as possible, just like the rest of my kids. Isaac was 3 days late (he came because they induced me), Jacob and Adam were both 7 days late.
As of last week my belly was measuring 39 weeks when I was only 38 weeks along. That doesn't mean baby will come a week early. It probably means I'm going to have another big baby. :) My Midwife guessed that the baby was around 7 1/2 pounds last week. I'm just hoping to stay below 11pounds this time.
(Isaac 9lbs 14oz, Jacob 10lbs 4oz, Adam 10lbs12oz)

This is the list of my families guesses for this baby. What is your guess?

August means Birthday, School & Anniversary

Joe and I celebrated seven years together last month.
Happy Anniversary Babe! I love you!
 Adam turned 2 years old.
We had a Curious George birthday party at our house with lots of family.
Yes, I made the cake. I was very happy how well George turned out.

Isaac started Kindergarten last week. My sweet boy is gone all day now. He loves school!
He has had no problems being away from us. I, on the other hand, have had a few tears.

As long as the weather cooperates we walk/ride to school and home each day.
It's so nice to have him so close.
Jacob sometimes misses his big brother during the day. But for the most part he loves going out to ride bikes twice a day. And he likes playing with toys Isaac can't keep from him while gone at school.

Looking Backwards at Our Summer

I know it been a LONG time since I've updated my blog. So here is a quick look at what we've been up to the last few months. I uploaded the pictures backwards. We are starting with July and end up in April.
I am 27 weeks along now. This baby is growing steadily and is very happy. My doctor appointments are always very boring, which is great. No problems at all.
My biggest problem is being too warm. I know summers in Alaska are far from hot, but I have my own personal heater inside me. To help cope with the heat, I cut off 10 inches of my hair. It is a little shorter than I prefer, but it's still cute and I am glad I decided to cut the full 10 inches so it could be donated.

My three boys are growing up faster than I can keep up. Isaac is 5 and will be going to kindergarten at the end of the month. We recently started going to "his school" playground to play.
Adam, who is almost 2, is my little monkey. He loves to run, jump and climb as high as he can go. And always by his "self". He never wants anyone to help.
Jacob, is 3 1/2 years, and is my mischievous little boy. He is always looking for fun, even when he knows it will make Mommy and Daddy crazy.

The boys went on a Temple trip with our ward primary. They even got to go inside and see the front desk and waiting area. It was a neat experience for my sweet boys.

Isaac played soccer again this summer. He LOVES it! He is learning very quickly. He's great at defence but also loves to score!

Grandpa John and Grandma Toni came to visit. The boys love having them stay with us. And enjoy all the fun things we do while they are in town.
 Hiking and watching the fireworks.

We took the boys out to the Solberg Cabin for a quick weekend get away. They had lots of fun playing in the water. We told them they could go in the lake with their rain boots on, and this is what happened. They ended up completely soaked while fully dressed. So much fun for my three boys.
After changing into some warm dry PJ's, I got a shot of all the clothes hanging out to dry.

They kids loved playing on the boat, pretending to drive and row. While daddy got in some fishing.

Our summer has been pretty rainy, but we have had some days of very hot sunny weather. Our house turns into an oven when it's sunny outside. The boys had a hard time sleeping with it being over 80 degrees in the house. This is how I found Jacob on one of those nights. So cute!

Isaac and cousin Emma took a R.A.D Kids class. It was a very cool class and the kids learned a lot. Each of the kids will take this class when they are old enough. If you don't know what r.a.d kids are, you should look into it wherever you live. Very cool program!

Joe and I went on a little weekend trip just the two of us. We took the Alaska train out to Denali and stayed overnight. Then came back on the train the next day. It was short, but very nice to spend some time with just my hubby and no kids.

Isaac graduated from his last year of Joy School. We LOVED our little group of kids this year. I was sad to see it end for my sweet Isaac, but very excited to see him grow so much this past year.

The boys enjoying being outside after a long winter.

And last, Easter Morning at our house. I love my three beautiful boys. I can't believe how fast they change and grow.

Halloween Baby?

So, we are having another baby! I'm pregnant! Baby is due October 31st. We are all very excited and everyone (even my little boys) are hoping for a girl.
We might have a chance, I've felt more sick and tired in the last 6 weeks than I ever remember being with any of the three boys.
No, we are not going to find out before the big day. Sorry, you will have to wait until this baby decides to arrive before knowing if we will be buying pink, or pulling out the well used boy clothes.
So today I'm about 9 1/2 weeks. No pictures yet. Although I'm "showing" a little, it just looks like I've gained some tummy weight. Maybe next month I will add pictures of the belly.

Oregon in November

Back in November we spent over a week in Oregon with Family.

It was another amazing trip. We all had so much fun catching up with Family and visiting lots of fun new places.

Joe and I took a little side trip without the kids. Only for a few hours, but it was nice to hike down to a beach and enjoy the sunset, Just Us!

We all went to the Beach together. This has become the favorite place to play when we visit Oregon. Somehow we always get amazing weather, even in the middle of winter.

We also made a trip to the Tillamook Cheese Factory and the Air Museum. Very cool!

During November and December the zoo decorates the zoo with millions of lights. Including their train that takes you around to see the light animals displayed. Zoo lights is well worth visiting. The kids loved the train ride! They asked to do it again, but settled for walking to see more lights and sharing an elephant ear with Daddy.

We spent over 4 hours at the Children's Museum. We had only planned on staying an hour or two, but this place was AMAZING! The kids had so much fun we just decided to stay until they ran out of things to do.

Water play, "Fred Meyer shopping center", clay building, trains and cars, Lego land, camping, building a house, veterinary clinic, dress up and stage for acting, Digging in the construction pit, climbing a tree house... the list of activities and play centers goes on and on.

We all had a great time. We only decided to leave after we were all starving and way past needing naps. But despite being hungry and tired there were no tears or complaining. They just played and played for hours.

I will admit the entry fee was expensive, but totally worth the money, as long as you have time to spend a few hours there. And we learned you can bring your own food inside. We will definitely pack a lunch for our next visit.

Another Day was spent visiting the Multnomah Falls. Beautiful!

Isaac's one request for this trip, was to "play at the park across the street" from Grandma and Grandpa's house. So much fun to play outside without layers of snow gear.

This is the sledding trip we did back in Anchorage, before our Thanksgiving Day vacation.

This is what our front drive looked like before the 100 inches of snow fall this winter. Now there are huge piles of snow on either side of the driveway.
