Cabin Trip

Labor day Weekend we decided to head out of town to our friends' cabin for a night. We hiked in with the Isaac and Jacob and half of our stuff. It took a long time but the sun was shinning and the lake was beautiful! Jacob got to ride in the baby carrier, he was kicking and talking the whole way as we tramped through the woods and climbed over fallen trees next to the water. Isaac made his Daddy carry him most of the time, but when he did walk he did pretty well getting around the obstacles.

Isaac got his first fishing lessons with Daddy. Joe would cast and Isaac would reel it back in. I think they both had fun even though the biggest fish they caught was only 3 inches long.


We only stayed one night, but it was a beautiful night. We spent a lot of time outside enjoying the prefect weather. Isaac helped collect driftwood to build our fire and threw lots and lots of rocks in the water.

Later we went for a ride in the boat, Thanks to Jared & Sarah who brought it out with them. We had a lot of fun! Thank you Chad and Jenn for being so willing to share your beautiful property with us!

We took the kids to Sears to get pictures a few weeks ago. I think they turned out really great! Even Alysa's crying pictures is super cute! I love these kids!
